Compliance announced the appointment of Anthony David as Director of eDiscovery and Technology Services, a newly-created position. Anthony assumes responsibility for the workflow and activities of Compliance's eDiscovery project management and technical teams.
Anthony brings over 20 years of law firm experience and a strong background in data analysis, information management, and litigation support to the role. He emphasizes a holistic approach to eDiscovery strategic planning that balances data solutions, advanced analytics, and best-practice processes to consistently meet critical deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
Anthony honed his management and communication skills by implementing multi-disciplinary standards across legal, IT and litigation support departments at multiple law firms. Previously, he served as eDiscovery and Practice Support Manager at Paul Hasting in Los Angeles. There, he held full accountability for overseeing a diverse range of complex projects involving the collection, review, analysis, and preservation of electronic data and evidence. A primary focus was reducing the firm’s exposure to liabilities resulting from the mishandling of eDiscovery.
“Anthony truly understands the competitive advantage that technology expertise brings to the eDiscovery environment,” said Marc Zamsky, COO of Compliance. “His grasp of technical and operational nuances, as well as his mentoring skills, make him the perfect candidate to drive strong incremental value for Compliance’s clients.”
Earlier, Anthony held the roles of Litigation Support Manager at Townsend and Townsend and Crew LLP, in San Francisco, CA, and Senior Litigation Support at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP, in Los Angeles and Palo Alto, CA. He has served on eDiscovery Task Force and Information Governance Committees and holds numerous certifications, including Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) and EnCase Computer Forensics. Anthony will support Compliance’s national client base from the company’s Los Angeles office.
