Compliance Invests in E-Discovery Expertise through ACEDS

Wednesday, September 17, 2014

Compliance Discovery Solutions, a discovery solutions company and pioneer in managed review, has established a corporate membership with the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS), the member organization for e-discovery professionals. Every member of Compliance’s client-facing Consulting Advisory Group will join ACEDS and complete the Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS™) certification.

Only qualified candidates who pass a rigorous examination can earn the right to use the Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS™) certification. In keeping with its philosophy of innovation and continuous improvement, Compliance will require the completion of this specialized coursework for its project management, business development and leadership team.

“Our ACEDS membership not only represents an investment in our staff development, it also advances our clients’ success,” said Marc Zamsky, Compliance’s COO. “Achieving CEDS credentials for our professional team gives us a strong competitive edge. It also adds to the e-discovery expertise gained over more than a decade managing complex and document-intensive reviews.”

The Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS) is the member organization for professionals in the private and public sectors who work in the field of e-discovery. ACEDS is building a community of e-discovery specialists for the exchange of ideas, guidance, training and best practices, and offers e-discovery certification.

“By creating the opportunity for its staff to pursue the CEDS credential, Compliance is showing a serious commitment to reducing e-discovery risks and costs for its clients and partners,” said Robert Hilson, ACEDS Executive Director. “ACEDS commends Compliance for taking this important step, and we're confident that obtaining certification will go far in distinguishing this great organization from its peers.”
